About me
Mental health/wellbeing has been a passion of mine since I was seventeen years old. Since that point in my life, I knew I wanted to get into the mental health field. Fast forward, today I have nine years of experience in the field and eight years of experience counseling. I have garnered experience in various settings, which include stress management, anxiety, and depression. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in counseling. I am offering my counseling services to anyone looking for ways to alleviate and cope with their stress. I know stress can be debilitating and can affect your personal relationships and/or health. Why not nip it in the bud now so that you can go on with your life feeling happier and more fulfilled? I look forward to helping you acquire the tools necessary to deal with your stress.
Service offered
Mental Health Counseling
A solution focused approach to therapy that focuses on the present. My counseling method is focused on assisting you in identifying coping mechanisms to implement in your daily life. So for example if someone is dealing with work stress, a solution focused approach would center around strategizing to address the issue in the current moment. Our discussions would revolve around identifying what you can control. This does not come easily. However, with consistent practice it can be improved. This is a central tenant of fulfillment and life satisfaction. I want to provide you with actionable and practical tools that may be implemented immediately. I look forward to helping you cultivate a healthy mindset.
